ACETE is an Institutional and Social Development firm working with South Africa and the Region.

The company is committed to ensuring client satisfaction through the provision of innovative and cost effective social development solutions.

ACETE is proud of its long-term client relationship built on honestly, integrity and quality.

ACETE is a Social Development company is which focused on giving institutional support and solutions to all tiers of government, community-based organisations and the private sector. It is headed up by its Managing Director, Ms Virginia Nomsa Mkaza, and is 100 percent managed by black women.

The company dates back to 1995 when Ms Mkaza, who had studied and trained extensively overseas, decided it was time to share the community-participation experiences gained from outside South Africa with colleagues and clients. She believed there was a better approach to community development than the “top-down” model applied until that time.

Since that time the ACETE has worked with a wide range of client on a diversity of projects and because they understand the complexities of the South African social environment and appreciate the aspirations of government, private companies and communities to create a better future for all, they embrace consultants with all stakeholders and have always been guided by the principles of Batho Pele, (putting people first).
